Overview
Do you love the idea of being an integral part of a couple’s special day? We are looking for enthusiastic and professional individuals with strong public speaking and interpersonal skills to join our team. You will be required to conduct and register marriages, civil partnerships, and other ceremonies. Be wowed by our 34 beautiful venues, where emotions can often run high, but where your calm, reassuring manner will guide couples through their vows. You’ll be in the spotlight; it can feel a little pressured, but you’ll be resilient, show initiative, and work accurately within the legal framework in which you’ll be trained.
Excellent timekeeping is essential. Working hours will vary, as much of our work is seasonal. Expect to be busy in the Summer and quieter in the Winter. Ideally, you’ll be available Monday to Sunday, including Bank Holidays, as ceremonies can fall on any day. But we schedule rotas two months in advance, giving you plenty of notice. We can discuss flexibility at interview, and final arrangements are then agreed upon successful appointment.
