Job Title: LEV Engineer (Dust / Fume) Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Salary/Benefits: £28k - £48k Training & Benefits Our client is a leading name within the LEV / Dust and Fume industry, who have a busy presence across the UK. They have recently obtained new contracts in the Yorkshire / Northern region, and require a P601 qualified LEV Engineer, to cover industrial, commercial and public sector premises. Daily duties will include: examination and testing on various LEV systems and completing subsequent remedial duties and accompanying reports. Experience / Qualifications: * Strong hands-on experience working as an LEV Engineer within Dust / Fume environments * Will hold the BOHS P601 as a minimum * It would be beneficial to hold the P600, P602, P604 and / or P605, but this is not essential * Strong technical knowledge of COSHH and HSG 258 guidelines * Able to travel / stay away as required * Experience working across a range of client sites * Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills The Role: * Completing thorough examination and testing on various LEV systems, including: portable and fixed dust extract systems, fume control systems and spray booths * Working predominantly on dust / fume systems within industrial, commercial and public sector premises * Performing remedial and servicing duties, including component replacements, such as: filter changes * Inspecting existing systems to identify performance issues and non-conformities * Making technical recommendations based on inspection findings * Producing comprehensive reports for clients * Working to set deadlines and personal targets * Effectively communicating technical matters directly to clients * Working to safety and industry guidelines * Maintaining strong working relationships with clients Alternative Job titles: LEV Test Engineer, LEV Inspection Engineer, Dust/Fume Extraction Engineer.
