Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (ASAP until end of Academic Year)
Salary: £130-211 per day
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
2. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
3. Proven experience teaching Art and/or KS3 Technology in a secondary school setting.
4. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring creativity and innovation in young learners.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
6. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
7. Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
8. Plan and deliver dynamic and inclusive lessons in Art and KS3 Technology, catering to diverse learning needs and styles.
9. Foster a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
10. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
11. Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives that integrate Art and Technology.
12. Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and behaviour, in line with school policies.
13. Participate in departmental meetings, parent's evenings, and school events as required.
