Overview
We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified Respiratory Physiologist on a permanent contract to work on a part-time basis (20.5 Hrs per week). They will join our friendly team at the Lung Function Unit, Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley. It would be an ideal opportunity for someone who has recently qualified or is just completing a BSc Clinical Physiology (respiratory).
Responsibilities
* The post-holder will be required to perform a range of diagnostic procedures on patients within a specialised physiology setting such as full lung function tests, challenge testing, sleep studies, muscle pressures and field exercise tests to greatly assist with the day to day running of the service.
* Tests will be primarily performed on an outpatient basis in the adult population.
Requirements / Qualifications
* ARTP registration or applying for it.
* Experience working in respiratory physiology, particularly in specialist areas.
* Ideally, recent qualification or current completion of a BSc Clinical Physiology (respiratory).
