Responsibilities Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, working Days (6am to 6pm) on a continental shift pattern (working 7 out of every 14 days). Your role will include: * Planned Preventative Maintenance across a range of equipment and machinery. * Dealing with machinery breakdowns and problems, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs. * Assisting with planned shut-downs and project work, refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts. * Assist being hands on in other areas of the factory when needed Requirements * Completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical Engineering qualifications * Experience in a similar environment; Industrial, Production or Manufacturing environments - most considered * Maintenance experience; dealing with machinery and equipment problems and breakdowns and/or completing preventative maintenance of plant/industrial machinery * Any experience of SOME of the following; Belts, Chains, Gear Boxes, Pumps, Bearings, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding and Fabricating etc * Motivated and driven to succeed * Willing to take on and complete further training as part of your growth and development in the factory and company If this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Jane at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.
