On behalf of our client - a busy, dispensing, training GP practice in Dunmow, Essex
Healthii People are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join a well-established GP practice, caring for around 15,000 patients.

Location: Dunmow, Essex
Salary: Up to £60,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Part-time or Full-time considered
About The Role
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team in a patient-facing role. Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing the dispensary and leading a team of dispensers and administrative staff.
Undertaking clinical medication reviews for patients with complex conditions.
Providing support to practice staff with prescription and medication queries.
Managing acute prescription requests, medicines reconciliation on transfer of care, and ensuring safer prescribing.
Offering expert clinical medicines advice, considering both health and social care needs.
Building strong links with community and hospital pharmacies to improve patient access, outcomes, and practice efficiencies.This is a pivotal role in improving the quality of care and enhancing operational efficiency, requiring motivation, leadership, and passion for service delivery in general practice.
Person Specification
We are looking for someone who is:
A qualified Clinical Pharmacist with mandatory registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
An Independent Prescriber (preferred).
Experienced In Primary Care (desirable).
Committed to continuing professional development.Skills & Abilities
Strong understanding of primary care prescribing, rational prescribing, and strategies to improve prescribing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competent in using IT systems such as Microsoft Office and SystmOne.
Demonstrates accountability, leadership, and the ability to deliver professional expertise.Additional Information
