Edinburgh College is seeking to employ a Receptionist/Administration Assistant to join the team at their Secondary campus. This is a permanent, part-time position (38 hours per week over 45 weeks of the year) to commence on 21 January 2026.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcoming visitors and maintaining a professional and friendly reception environment
* Efficiently managing incoming calls, emails, mail, and deliveries
* Maintaining accurate student attendance records, visitor registers, and key school databases
* Providing comprehensive administrative support to school leadership through scheduling, meeting coordination, and general office tasks
* Supporting Child Safe compliance processes
* Managing staff timesheet submissions
* Assisting with first aid, ensuring staff training records remain current and up to date
The successful applicant will have 2-3 years’ experience in a customer-related role, Certificate III or IV in Business Administration (desirable) and proficient IT skills including Google and Microsoft suites. Applicants must hold and maintain a valid Working With Children Check and Australian Driver Licence.
As per the Educational Services (Schools) General Staff Award 2020 – Level 3.
