Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a friendly and welcoming school in Hoyland. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging lessons that foster curiosity and critical thinking about physical and human geography.
As a Geography Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering stimulating lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Encouraging pupils to develop geographical skills through varied teaching methods and resources.
* Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
* Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to promote pupil wellbeing.
* Contributing to the wider school life, including extracurricular activities where appropriate.
To be successful as a Geography Teacher, you should:
* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Have experience teaching Geography across Key Stages.
* Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Geography.
* Possess strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate teaching.
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
* Provide a full, 10-year career history (CV) with any gaps explained.
