We are looking to appoint a compassionate, skilled and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join a dedicated team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with a range of special educational needs. Starting September 2025.
Duties as SEND Teacher:
* Plan and deliver personalised, inclusive lessons tailored to individual learning needs
* Create a supportive and structured environment that enables pupils to thrive academically, socially and emotionally
* Use a variety of assessment methods to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, families and external agencies
* Contribute to the development and review of EHCPs, behaviour plans and individual targets
* Promote independence, confidence and resilience in all pupils
Ideal SEND Teacher:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience working with children with a range of SEND (e.g. ASD, SEMH, MLD, SLD)
* Be confident in using differentiated teaching strategies and specialist resources
* Demonstrate excellent communication, classroom management and teamworking skills as a SEND Teacher.
* Be reflective, patient, and passionate about inclusive education
