We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Machinist to join our clients growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with experience in both CNC and manual machining to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing high-quality precision components.

Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate CNC and conventional machining equipment
* Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and specifications
* Select and install tooling, fixtures and machine accessories
* Load and run CNC programs to manufacture parts to specification
* Monitor machining operations and make adjustments where required
* Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments
* Troubleshoot machining and assembly issues with engineering and production teams
* Complete production documentation accurately
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
* Support continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing and EHS initiatives
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2 years' machining xsngvjr experience
* Experience operating both CNC and manual machinery
* Strong understanding of machine shop practices and machining techniques
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
* HNC qualification or engineering apprenticeship desirable
