About the Role
As a Senior Support Worker, youll play a key role in supporting the childrens daily lives, helping them build positive routines, develop life skills, and achieve meaningful outcomes. Youll also support and guide the care team, ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing high-quality, person-centred care and support
Acting as a positive role model and mentor to children and staff
Leading shifts and ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the home
Supporting care planning, key working, and behavioural support strategies
Promoting independence, emotional well-being, and educational engagement
About You
Were looking for someone passionate, resilient, and caring someone who genuinely wants to make a difference in childrens lives.
Essential:
Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Childrens Residential Care (or equivalent)
Experience working with children with EBD and/or LD
Full UK driving licence
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Desirable:
Experience as a Senior or Shift Leader in a childrens home setting
Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures
