About Oxford CBT: Oxford CBT is a well-established, compassionate psychological service offering high-quality, evidence-based support for adults, children and families. We provide therapy and comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments in line with NICE guidelines.
As we expand into Herefordshire and Worcestershire, we are seeking experienced clinicians to join our neurodevelopmental team. We believe every person deserves understanding, clarity and the right support. Our approach is warm, ethical and person-centred, helping bring confidence and clarity to individuals and their families.
The Role
You will complete detailed Autism and ADHD assessments for children, adults or both, depending on your experience. Part of each assessment must be completed in person at our Worcestershire clinic (specifically the ADOS-2). Other components may take place remotely where appropriate. You will work collaboratively within a supportive MDT, contributing to accurate diagnoses and thoughtful feedback.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete Autism and ADHD assessments aligned with NICE guidance
* Administer and score ADOS-2 modules in person
* Conduct structured developmental histories and ADHD interviews (e.g. DIVA)
* Collaborate with clients, families and professionals during the assessment process
* Produce high-quality, evidence-based clinical reports
* Provide sensitive, helpful diagnostic feedback
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using Jane
* Support service quality and development in Herefordshire and Worcestershire
Qualifications
* HCPC-registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, or other relevant registered clinician (SALT, Occupational Therapist, Psychiatrist, Nurse Practitioner)
* Formal ADOS-2 training with recent practical experience
* Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering full Autism and/or ADHD assessments including MDT feedback
* Strong formulation, communication and diagnostic report-writing skills
* Ability to carry out at least 10 full assessments per month
* Availability to complete in-person elements at our Worcestershire clinic
* Compassionate, professional and well‑organised approach
* Experience conducting assessments with both adults and children
* ADI‑R training or structured developmental history experience
* Knowledge of DIVA, 3Di, DISCO or similar diagnostic tools
* Experience working within private practice or NHS neurodevelopmental services
* Experience administering the QB test
* Interest in supporting clinical service development locally
