📐 The Role
You will deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience. You'll be part of a collaborative department committed to raising attainment and building students' confidence in numeracy and problem‑solving.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering high‑quality Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom
* Supporting learners of all abilities through effective differentiation
* Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing clear feedback
* Contributing to departmental planning and whole‑school initiatives
* Inspiring pupils to develop resilience, confidence, and a love for Maths
✅ The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised UK equivalent
* Has a degree in Maths or a related subject
* Is an ECT or experienced Maths teacher
* Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and classroom management
* Has a genuine passion for teaching and helping pupils succeed
ECTs will benefit from structured mentoring, clear progression pathways, and ongoing support.
