Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our client, a well-established legal team based in Lewes. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor with a strong background in private client work to develop their career within a supportive and client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting wills and providing comprehensive estate planning advice, including lifetime gifting strategies
Advising on the creation, administration, and termination of trusts
Managing probate and estate administration, including advising on Deeds of Variation
Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney
Candidate Profile:
Qualified solicitor with approximately 5 years' post-qualification experience in Private Client law
Knowledge of trust taxation is desirable
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills
Professional and client-focused approach with excellent communication skills
Flexible, resilient, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Experience in managing or supervising junior team members would be advantageous
