The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating projects to ensure the successful execution of all tasks. This role provides project document management support to cross-functional teams by assisting in the administration, archiving, and tracking of essential project documents. The Project Coordinator will collaborate closely with program managers across departments to support all aspects of project planning and management. Essential Position Functions:
1. Establish, maintain, and report on operational data related to revenue, cost, or productivity.
2. Support project managers in completing tasks to meet departmental and project goals, especially regarding document management.
3. Ensure project milestones are maintained, including financial and quality milestones, and update work breakdown structures and deliverables as directed.
4. Track and follow up on tasks to keep project timelines on schedule.
5. Administer ongoing programs by collecting, summarizing, and communicating data; ensure timely submission of required information.
6. Communicate project planning, timelines, progress, and critical issues to management.
7. Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
8. Manage scope changes through client and internal change orders.
9. Ensure project documents are captured, categorized, and organized properly.
10. Generate and analyze weekly production reports; develop new reports as needed.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
* High School diploma or GED required.
* Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
* At least 2 years of project coordinating experience required; 5+ years as a Senior Administrative Assistant may substitute.
* At least 1 year of drafting/design experience.
* Experience with a major MSO or Telecom Operator is preferred.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word) and Adobe products.
* Ability to prioritize, complete tasks accurately, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.
Physical Demands:
* Frequent walking, standing, sitting.
* Ability to sit for extended periods.
* Effective communication with colleagues and management.
Work Environment:
* Standard office environment with occasional field work.
* Work independently and as part of a team.
* Frequent use of computers and office equipment.
