2. Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with no weekends required.
3. Benefits: Opportunity to work with a family-run business operating for over 33 years, employing over 100 members of staff.
Due to continued expansion, a not-to-miss opportunity has become available for an experienced and professional Parts and Service Administrator for our client's franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership situated in Swindon.
As a Parts and Service Administrator, your responsibilities shall include:
4. Meet and greet customers in person and on the phone.
5. Raising T cards for all bookings and creating jobs.
6. Obtaining order numbers to include authorisation of work and regular progress updates.
7. Planning of scheduled servicing and tacho/MOT bookings.
8. Processing and checking retail invoice costing, including texting of jobs, ensuring all parts are loaded to the invoice standard.
9. Receiving, validating, recording, and allocating parts and consumables from suppliers.
10. Deal with any customer queries via email promptly
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate would need to have previous/current experience working in a customer service-oriented role in the automotive industry. Direct experience working in a similar role within an automotive dealership/garage (ideally working with commercial vehicles) would be highly beneficial, but isn't essential as on-the-job training is provided. Overall, you will be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills, resulting in total customer satisfaction. You will have a passion for working for our client and have very strong organisational skills along with IT proficiency (experience with the Kerridge/Keyloop DMS system would also be advantageous). Liaising with manufacturers to authorise warranty repairs and general knowledge of automotive warranty procedures would also be advantageous, but is non-essential.
For your hard work as a Parts and Service Administrator, our client is offering:
11. Competitive starting salary negotiable pending experience and current earnings.
12. Workplace pension scheme.
13. Company uniform
14. 20 days annual holiday allowance plus the 8 bank holidays (holiday allowance increases over length of service).
15. Access to full manufacturer-approved and in-house training/development.
16. Opportunity to work with a family-run business operating for over 33 years, employing over 100 members of staff.
17. Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with no weekends required.
