Engineer Supervisor - Fire & Security

About the Role
We're working with a leading independent Fire & Security business that delivers cutting edge solutions for prestigious clients, from universities and local authorities to high security facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise a team of Fire & Security engineers, ensuring high standards across all service and maintenance work
* Carry out complex maintenance and service visits where required
* Champion compliance with NSI standards, delivering toolbox talks and developing processes that improve quality
* Provide technical support, act as point of escalation, and assist with root cause analysis for recurring issues
* Monitor engineer performance, provide feedback, and support training and development needs
* Liaise with clients, ensuring clear communication, service updates, and customer satisfaction
* Assist with large project handovers, ensuring compliant documentation and asset details are captured
* Maintain health & safety standards and promote a safety-first culture
* Track and deliver on KPIs including first-time fix rates, escalation resolution, and compliance recommendations
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 5 years' experience in the Fire & Security industry
* Strong knowledge of high-end Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, PAVA, Access Control, or Door Entry systems
* Background in service, maintenance, and fault-finding across multiple systems
* Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
* Highly organised with strong communication and client-facing skills
* Ability to balance fieldwork with leadership and compliance responsibilities
* Full UK driving licence
