About Eye Vet
Eye Vet is a dedicated ophthalmology referral practice with support from Northwest Veterinary Specialists and the University of Liverpool’s Small Animal Teaching Hospital. We handle a busy referral caseload from primary care practices, contribute to clinical teaching and placements for veterinary students, and provide ophthalmology services to Chester Zoo.
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Ophthalmologist (postgraduate qualification essential) to join our experienced team. You will work alongside five clinicians, ophthalmic RVNs, and benefit from on-site support from the ECVAA-led anaesthesia team.
This is a fixed-term contract position with potential for extension. It offers a progressive, supportive environment emphasizing education, clinical excellence, and teamwork.

Candidate Requirements
* RCVS registration and a passion for Ophthalmology.
