Key Responsibilities:
5. Managing the full life cycle of road freight shipments (import or export)
6. Coordinating collections and deliveries with hauliers, overseas partners, and customers
7. Preparing and checking all relevant shipping and customs documentation
8. Monitoring shipments, updating customers, and proactively resolving any issues or delays
9. Negotiating rates with suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions
10. Delivering excellent customer service and building strong client relationships
11. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Candidate Requirements:
12. Experience in road freight forwarding operations (import or export essential)
13. Knowledge of European road freight processes and regulations
14. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
15. Confident communicator with excellent customer service ability
16. IT literate; experience with freight forwarding systems advantageous
17. Able to work both independently and as part of a team
