Waking Night Female Support Worker
Pay rate: £14.50 - £15.00 per hour for waking nights.
Shift Pattern: Monday - Sunday, 21:00 - 07:00.
We have a rewarding opportunity for a caring individual to support a fun-loving young person living in their family home in Bracebridge Heath. This person has complex clinical needs, a communication disorder, and Body Dystonia, but these do not define them. They enjoy watching Ant and Dec and The Wiggles. The ideal candidate would be someone who is into all things girlie.
To make the most of trips out and about, we prefer candidates who are local to Bracebridge Heath, know the area, and can drive a car with a full UK Driving Licence.
Enriching activities are important in your support role, and you will bring a compassionate approach to make a real difference in this person’s life. Previous experience in the following areas is required:
* Care experience
* Complex care beneficial
We offer full training for the right candidate to support her clinical needs, which include medication administration, personal care, PEG and JEJ feeding, oropharyngeal suctioning, mechanical ventilation, and emotional support during the night.
Your shift will involve: Providing high-quality, 1:1 care tailored to her needs, supporting medical, personal, ventilation, suctioning, and assistance requirements during the night. You will work alone and as part of a team to provide 24/7 care, supporting her clinical and emotional needs, and offering respite for her parents.
