The Governing Board at Bowmandale Primary School are seeking to recruit a professional and hard- working Administrative Assistant to work in our busy Reception/Admin office at our popular school recently graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.
We are seeking a candidate who has previous and office experience and who will be happy to work as part of a team as well as on their own.
We are looking for some-one who is passionate, efficient and well-motivated.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
1. being the first point of contact via telephone or face to face for parents, pupils, general public, staff, visitors and deliveries to the school
2. carrying out first aid/administering medication
3. producing the Census returns and attendance on SIMs and upkeep of pupil admissions and records as well as setting up of the new school year.
4. monitoring and responding to the daily emails
5. regular updates for parents via the use of the texting service in school
6. updating the school App
7. supporting school events
8. production of in house certificates on a weekly basis
9. routine clerical and typing support
10. monitoring purchases and trip consents and monies via Parentpay, along with lunch administration.
11. maintenance of pupil/year records including new starters and leavers
12. photocopying, scanning and general reception/admin duties
We can support with any training to fulfill this role but experience of working in a school would be advantageous.
