BAM FM is recruiting a Maintenance Technician / Supervisor with an Electrical bias to be based at our Dunfermline Learning Campus site. Working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
Your mission
You will work as part of our maintenance team, covering all aspects of building & site maintenance for our client. The role includes planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks across the site.
• Manage all sub-contractors on site, ensuring works are completed to required standards while following safe working practices.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the client, their representatives, and site teams.
• Assist in negotiating and placing contract orders following company policies in a professional, cost-effective manner.
• Develop and monitor service delivery in conjunction with contract teams.
• Facilitate risk management processes and procedures.
• Prepare Risk Assessments and produce Method Statements for works within the site.
• Manage onsite Permit to Work (PTW) system.
• Monitor quality audits of completed work.
• Implement policies on health & safety (H&S), quality assurance (QA), and environment with support from corporate teams.
• Identify and obtain essential spares to ensure the client's facility remains operational.
• Ensure all tasks, both planned and reactive, are completed within contractual time scales.
• Schedule and complete planned maintenance in collaboration with the client to ensure 100% compliance.
• Assist in providing associated services within project facilities, including general plumbing, statutory inspection and testing of mechanical and electrical services, and managing minor works projects.
• Price and manage minor work projects.
Who are we looking for?
• Ability to operate effectively within a busy work environment.
• Ability to work to plans and timescales.
• Electrical Qualifications, including 18th Edition.
• Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling.
