Join to apply for the Administration Assistant role at Test Valley Borough Council.

Looking for a fresh challenge and the chance to develop your skills? Then we can offer you this varied and interesting role, providing administrative support to the Development Control Team within our high-performing Planning and Building Service. You will use a variety of software packages to prepare application files for processing, working to tight deadlines and dealing with members of the public on a daily basis.

You’ll have 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), (Grades 4-9), including English and Maths. Good IT skills, including experience of working in a windows-based environment, and recent administrative experience of working in an office environment. With good oral and written communication skills, and proven customer care skills, you will need to be able to work in a busy environment and meet deadlines whilst achieving a high level of accuracy.
