P.E Teacher – Full-Time Permanent Position
The Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable P.E Teacher to work within a specialist secondary setting supporting pupils aged 11 to 16. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, ideal for an educator who is passionate about using physical education to build confidence, wellbeing and engagement for young people with additional needs.
Working hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.

About the Pupils
You will be teaching pupils with a range of special educational needs, which may include:
Autism spectrum conditions
Social, emotional and mental health needs
Communication and interaction difficulties
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging P.E lessons aligned with the curriculum
Support the academic and theoretical aspects of P.E, not just practical activities
Adapt lessons to meet individual learning and physical needs
Promote positive behaviour, teamwork and resilience
What We’re Looking For
QTS is beneficial but not essential
Non-QTS applicants are welcome with experience delivering the academic elements of P.E
A minimum of 6 months’ childcare experience, particularly with SEN, would be beneficial
A confident, inclusive and adaptable teaching approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
