About the Role: As Head of Geography, you will lead a dedicated department, fostering a love for geographical learning and critical thinking across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and ideally Key Stage 5). This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented teacher with leadership aspirations or existing leadership experience to shape and develop an ambitious Geography curriculum that engages, challenges, and inspires students. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Geography department, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement. Develop and deliver an engaging, inclusive, and well-structured curriculum. Support, mentor, and inspire staff within the department. Monitor and track student progress, using data to drive improvement. Contribute to whole-school development and collaborate with senior leaders. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong academic background in Geography. Proven experience of excellent classroom practice.
