The successful candidate will work alongside several experienced partners, including individuals ranked in the Legal 500 for their expertise in commercial property. The firm is currently seeking a Real Estate Solicitor with 1+ years' PQE to join its growing Southampton team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-profile matters alongside experienced and supportive Solicitors, within a culture that values flexibility, innovation, and development.
The Role
The successful candidate will join a thriving national Real Estate team and handle a broad range of property matters for household-name clients. Responsibilities will include:
* Advising on acquisitions and disposals of investment, retail, industrial, and development properties
* Managing general estate and portfolio work for institutional investors, public sector bodies, and national retailers
* Advising landlords and tenants on large property portfolios
* Leading transactions from start to finish, supervising junior colleagues, and contributing to the team's strategic direction
* Playing an active role in business development and client relationship management across the South Coast and beyond

Candidate Profile
* At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in Real Estate law
* A strong technical grounding in commercial property law, ideally gained at a recognised city or large regional firm
* Proven experience advising landlords and/or tenants on significant property portfolios
* A commercially astute, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented approach
* Confidence in managing client relationships and a drive to support business development
* A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for mentoring and supporting colleagues
