This position is ideal for someone with a background in s mall plant, agricultural, or construction equipment who enjoys working independently while being supported by a strong wider team.
Youll play a key role in keeping essential equipment operating safely and reliably, working directly at customer sites and taking ownership of your day-to-day workload.
Mobile fitter duties: Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on company and customer equipment at customer premises.
Working independently and as part of a team to ensure all equipment meets manufacturer specifications.
Completing job documentation accurately and following safe working practices at all times.
Managing van stock levels and ordering parts as required to stay fully equipped Mobile fitter requirements : Time-served, qualified Plant Fitter or Mechanic or relevant experience Full UK driving licence Ability to plan your workload and manage time effectively Solid working knowledge of small plant engines (petrol 2-stroke, 4-stroke, and diesel) is a distinct advantage.
