Quality Inspector – Aerospace Components Location: Altham | Client: Leading Aerospace Manufacturer Contract: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) Hours: Monday – Friday | 37 hours per week Quality Inspector Job Description Inspect complex aerospace components using first principles, precision tools, and CMMs. Run CMMs and interpret results, including validating new products before batch production. Complete FAI (First Article Inspection) reports to AS9100 standards using Visual FAI software. Conduct MSA / R&R studies and interpret findings to maintain measurement accuracy. Develop Quality Assurance Documents (QADs) to define in-process checks for operational teams. Perform visual inspections against customer drawings and standard work instructions, including setting visual standards. Calibrate product tooling as required.
