We are excited to be recruiting for a Motor Vehicle Technician at our upcoming new state-of-the-art Ford dealership opening in Scunthorpe later this year. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups.
If successful, you will have the opportunity to work temporarily at our other Ford sites, either at our York Road dealership in Doncaster or our Rawcliffe Road branch in Goole, until our new dealership opens.

As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will service, repair, and maintain our customers' vehicles, ensuring they are ready for the road.
We work with various manufacturers and a diverse range of vehicles. You will take pride in your work, ownership of your tasks, and aim to complete jobs to the highest standard.

You will work in an industry-leading workshop with state-of-the-art facilities. Through in-house and manufacturer training, you will receive full support to develop and advance your career in EV Technology, contributing to making Stoneacre the Number One Motor Group.

An average day as a Motor Vehicle Technician…
* Utilize your knowledge of manufacturer vehicles to service, repair, and diagnose customer vehicles within our state-of-the-art workshop
* Work as part of a motivated team, completing all service paperwork to standards
* Provide diagnostic reports on customer vehicles
* Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, including steering, suspension, brakes, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning
* Complete relevant documentation such as job sheets, PDIs, and service reports in accordance with manufacturer and dealer requirements
* Check the quality of work through diagnostic equipment and road testing
About You…
* Experience working in the automotive sector as a vehicle technician, mechanic, MOT tester, or auto electrician
* Hold NVQ Levels 1, 2, and 3 or equivalent qualifications in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
* Full UK driving license
* Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification is advantageous but not essential; full training provided
* MOT license is beneficial but not essential
* Passion for your work and continuous learning
