Teaching Assistant Level 2 or Level 3 dependant on experience at Wintringham Primary Academy
Wintringham Primary Academy seek to appoint an inspirational, dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (Level 1, 2 or 3 depending on skills & experience, with experience working across the curriculum, to join our experienced team. you will work 32 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on a Thursday, 39 working weeks per annum, term-time only including training days.
Responsibilities
* Assist in teaching language, English and Maths and help the class reach the early learning goals of the national curriculum
* Encourage good behavior and a positive classroom environment
Qualifications and qualities
* Have the ability to build good relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues
* Have commitment to equal opportunities
* Be flexible and have experience of using different strategies to achieve the desired outcomes
* Have the ability to work in a team but also to use your own initiative
* Have good organisational and time management skills
* Have excellent communication skills
* Have a good understanding of the national curriculum and expectations
* Have patience and a good sense of humour
