Sous Chef We are looking for an ambitious and skilled Sous Chef to join a vibrant kitchen team in a modern restaurant with a strong farm-to-fork ethos. The Kitchen & Team * Team of 8 talented * A friendly, diverse team — all under 45, with backgrounds from the UK and overseas. * Balanced rota: 2 days off per week, early or late shifts depending on service. The Food * Fresh, seasonal, locally sourced ingredients — with meat, eggs and much of the veg from our own farm. * British/Welsh cuisine with modern influences, renowned Sunday roasts and steaks. Sous Chef Role * Support the Head and Senior Sous Chef in leading the kitchen team. * Ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across services. * Work with fresh, seasonal produce to deliver innovative and memorable dishes. * Take ownership of a section, support junior chefs, and contribute to menu planning. * Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety and kitchen organisation. * Opportunity to get involved in stock management, menu costing, and HACCP systems.
