About the Role
Spencer Clarke Group is seeking a passionate and nurturing Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Skelmersdale. This is a full-time position for the remainder of the academic year, providing an excellent opportunity to support young learners at a crucial stage in their development.

Role and Responsibilities
* Support teaching staff in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to children to enhance learning and development.
* Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and creative activities.
* Promote a nurturing and inclusive environment where children feel safe and valued.
* Support children with personal care, transitions, and social development when required.
* Observe and record children's progress, feeding back to the class teacher and EYFS lead.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, SENCO, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
* Maintain a positive and professional approach, contributing to the wider school community.

Requirements
* Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, or equivalent.
* Previous experience working within an EYFS or nursery setting.
* Understanding of the EYFS framework and early years pedagogy.
* A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain).
