As part of the Finance Service, you will be at the heart of the work to ensure residents benefit from these opportunities and help improve the lives of everyone in Waltham Forest.
Following a recent restructure, Waltham Forest are looking to recruit to several senior roles to join the team. These are significant roles for the Council, and we are keen to attract people to act as trusted advisors and critical friends for stakeholders, challenging thinking and influencing service delivery.
The roles are across Housing, Place / NED, Stronger Communities and Children. The roles will provide a business partnering service ensuring stakeholders have the financial information to make informed decisions. They will support the delivery of these key services whilst also supporting the projects.
Waltham Forest are looking for people who are a qualified accountants, or will be qualified within the next 9 months, with previous experience of providing a business partnering service in a large complex organisation. Exposure to any of the services is desirable, whilst the ability to build relationships and influence and challenge is essential.
