Theatre Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner (Band 5 or Band 6)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time – 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday – Friday (occasional Saturday)
Salary: Band 5: £27,055 – £32,934 per year – Band 6: £33,706 – £40,588 per year + *£3000 Welcome Bonus*

Role Overview:
The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, as a Theatre Practitioner you will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs.
Responsibilities:
* Caring for patients undergoing procedures
* Providing exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative stage
* Assistingin the management and organisation of care provision within the Scrub/Recovery team in the operating department
* Acting as either Scrub/Recovery Practitioner across a range of clinical specialities.
* Working across multi-disciplinary teams
* Assessing patient needs, implementing and evaluating their care.
Requirements:
* ODP or NMC registered Nurse
* At least 2 years Orthopaedics Scrubbing experience
* You will be working on rotation in different specialities, flexibility is required
