Location: Fulford School, Fulfordgate, York, YO10 4FY
Hours
Monday to Thursday: 3:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Friday: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Pay and Start
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Part-time, Permanent
Role
We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team at Fulford School. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high cleaning standards and creating a safe, hygienic environment for students and staff.
Responsibilities
* Cleaning classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
* Sanitising touchpoints and surfaces
* Emptying bins and replenishing supplies
* Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and general upkeep
* Following health and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
* Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
* A positive, can-do attitude
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Must be reliable and punctual
* A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
