Business Development Manager – Cybersecurity Services
Remote (UK-based) | £45,000–£55,000 base + uncapped commission
About the Role
We’re looking for a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Manager to drive new business growth.
Vambrace is a single destination for cybersecurity advisory, managed security services, and risk & compliance solutions. In this role, you’ll be responsible for selling across these core areas with confidence and credibility.
This is a pure hunter role, focused on acquiring new logo mid-market clients (250–2000 users) across the UK. You will own the full sales cycle end-to-end, supported by marketing and SDR activity, while also generating your own pipeline when needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and convert a strong pipeline across Managed SecOps, Compliance, Third-Party Risk, and Human Risk Advisory services
* Own the full sales cycle: discovery, qualification, solution design, proposal, negotiation, and close
* Engage C-suite and security leaders with a consultative, value-led approach
* Proactively generate opportunities during quieter inbound periods
* Collaborate with marketing, SDRs, and leadership to optimise campaigns and conversion
* Maintain accurate CRM data and deliver reliable forecasts
* Use modern sales tools (e.g. ZoomInfo, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity
* Provide market feedback to refine messaging and go-to-market strategy
Essential Requirements
* Proven track record in cybersecurity, managed services, or risk/compliance sales
* Strong new business (“hunter”) mindset with consistent overachievement against targets
* Experience building pipeline and closing mid-market deals
* Confident communicator with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDPICC)
* Comfortable selling newer or less-established solutions in competitive markets

Package
* £45,000 – £55,000 base salary
* Uncapped commission (margin-based, with accelerators for overperformance)
