Accounts Assistant | Antrim | Permanent opportunity Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a family-run business in Antrim and are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their small team. This is a permanent opportunity, 32 - 40 hours per week, office based. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Assistant will act as a key person for the administration of financial data, including assisting with IT system management and upkeep. Specific responsibilities include: Processing sales, purchase, expense invoices Bank reconciliations Allocating VAT and nominal codes Balance sheet reconciliations Updating fixed asset register Month end accruals Processing payments Processing journals Monitoring and upkeep of financial systems (including banking) Previous experience working with an ERP systems would be an advantage The Person: Applicants will have previous bookkeeping experience and ideally an AAT Level 2 qualification Applicants will have a working knowledge of an ERP accounting system Applicants will have a good working knowledge of MS Office including MS Excel Applicants will be keen to learn and develop their experience If you are looking for the next step in your career and would like to find out more about this lovely opportunity, please get in touch with Lizzy Lyons on and email an up to date cv Skills: Bookkeeping AAT Level 2 ERP software
