POSITION SUMMARY
We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Cash Collection Associate to join our Accounts Receivable Team, to be based at Kites Croft, Fareham.
This role will primarily support the department with all Receivable processes, including but not limited to cash collection, deduction management, cash allocation and invoicing.
This is a fixed term contract position.
WHAT THIS ROLE DOES
MAIN DUTIES
* Contacting debtors to seek payment, using a combination of methods including telephone calls, letters and emails – maintaining constant contact with customers to ensure that overdue debts are quickly cleared and that the payment terms are adhered to.
* When debts become overdue proactively and persistently pursue debt to ensure rapid payment or resolution of queries.
* Build relationships with customers to understand their preferred way of working and then subsequently ensure that this experience is applied to the management of the account.
* Ensure that expense invoices, together with relevant back up are mailed to customer on a timely basis and to the correct person within the organisation.
* Ensure that monthly statements are produced and sent to customer – maximising the opportunity to clarify what needs paying and when by.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
* Computer literate, good working knowledge of Office and associated software (e.g. Outlook, Excel).
* Good communication (written and verbal).
* A conscientious team player.
* Accurate worker with an eye for detail.
* Able to work to tight deadlines where required.
* Flexible and pro-active approach to work
* Extra working hours may be required according to business need.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of SAP.
* Experience of working with a busy, efficient Accounts Receivable team
* Experience of working for a large company.
