The Lead Project Engineer will work for the Team Lead and lead the Asset designs and water treatment projects. Outgoing and interested in how things work, you will have a natural curiosity that will prompt you to explore where we could be working smarter, Service in mind design approach, Speed-Quality-Budget in mind, and we will see the output from this in cost savings, smart solution, quality and on time delivery.

You will be based in the Peterborough office, you will spend most of your time across the office environment, in the Plant and on the shop floor, occasional site visit/ customer/ supplier meetings.
Key roles
● Leading the Electrical and controls design of Water treatments Asset globally
● Lead / provide Electrical / Controls support for the project execution of Bridge, Complex Mobile and BOO projects in the region and responsible for design execution on time delivery and budget.
● Good working knowledge of CE marking and UKCA certifications process and Standards
● Good working knowledge of NAM standards as UL and CSA design certifications and Standards
● Skilled Electrical / Control panel designs and Equipment’s selection and Sizing’s
● Skilled Experience in PLC designs, Troubleshooting and Integrations (Preferable PLC- Allan Bradley and Siemens occasionally)
● Leading I/O checks, Commissioning and Startups for newly designed equipment and plants.
● Documents creation, review, and approvals.
● Manage Customer deliverable/ Technical communications.
● SAP business tool: Material Master, Inventory, drawing and BOM
● Sourcing supports: finding suppliers and parts; Technical review of the quotes
● Work closely with regional leads to develop deals and successful executions
● Subject matter expert and Multi discipline skilled- Electrical, controls and PLC
● Keep close collaboration with fabrication facilities, Sourcing, product management and incorporate field feedback
● Lead, Coach, and train outsource engineering and work closely to get done detailed designs and drawings.
● Lead / Support for the HAZOPs / Product Safety reviews.
Plus Site visits, Commissioning/ Troubleshooting support and as built surveys.
Qualifications
Essential Experiences /Skills;
Good basic knowledge of water Process/ Electrical / Control/ Mechanical designs, Material and Equipment’s selection and Sizing’s
Knowledge in PLC designs and Integrations (Preferable PLC- Allan Bradley and Siemens)
Experience directly in an engineering design and Design leaderships
Experience in a product/services business in water treatment
Strong water process and project management skills with ability to drive projects and meet deadlines
Strong analytical and computer skills.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written in English
Desired Characteristics
B.Sc. in an Engineering/science / Master or related technical experience
Over 4-5 years relevant water treatment experience
Over 5 years relevant Electrical / Control design experiences
Mandatory qualifications and Certifications in Electrical design and installations
Multi-lingual skills
