Coppersmith Recruitment and Services are currently recruiting for an ambitious and driven Fitness Manager to lead operations within a busy and dynamic leisure environment.

The Role
As Fitness Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the overall fitness strategy, leading a team of fitness professionals, and ensuring members receive a world-class experience every time they visit.
You will play a key role in driving performance across personal training, group exercise, and gym floor engagement while fostering a positive, energetic, and results-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and develop the fitness team to achieve targets and KPIs
* Oversee the delivery of personal training and group exercise programmes
* Ensure consistent, high-quality member engagement on the gym floor
* Implement and drive a clear member retention strategy
* Promote a positive, fun, and inclusive environment for both staff and members
* Monitor performance and manage team accountability
* Support wider centre operations including reporting and basic financial oversight
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum Level 3 Fitness Qualification
* Proven experience managing fitness teams and programmes
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Experience in personal training and group exercise delivery
* Commercial awareness with the ability to drive revenue and retention
* A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for fitness and customer service
* Flexible to work daytime, evenings, and weekends
