Salary: Grade K £46,142 - £49,282 a year
Location: The Council House, Derby City Council, Corporation Street, Derby
Hours: 2 x 37 hours and 1 x hours posts available

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Adult Social Care department as a Social Worker in the Learning Disability Services.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with the relevant experience in Learning Disabilities and Neurodivergence to join our dedicated Learning disability Service. You will undertake Assessments, Reviews, Safeguarding and arrange the delivery of social care services, under the Care Act 2014, to the people of Derby who are transitioning from Childrens to Adult services. These individuals may have Learning Disabilities, Physical Health Concerns, Education Health Care Plans and/or Mental ill-health. We aim to support those individuals to develop their skills and abilities to live a life of their choosing and fulfil their potential. You will be liaising with key stakeholders, families and commissioning colleagues to build the right support around individuals with complex needs.
It is essential that applicants have a Social Work Qualification and are registered with Social Work England.
