About the Role
The client’s legal team requires an experienced UK-qualified litigator on a contract basis to project manage a complex dispute project.
This consultant will sit between external counsel and the business, and ensuring each case progresses on track. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a large litigation portfolio within a financial services MNC.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Primary responsibility for managing the case dispute portfolio
* Triaging and managing cases according to a clear strategy and timeline
* Acting as the key liaison between external counsel and internal stakeholders
* Helping control external legal spend
* Freeing the in-house legal team from day-to-day litigation management
Whom They’re Looking For
* 7+ PQE litigation lawyer, ideally with financial services disputes experience
* UK-qualified solicitor or barrister with a current practising certificate
* Experience handling disputes in retail banking, wealth management or mortgage lending preferred
* Experience from private practice and/or in-house environments
* Commercial, pragmatic and confident working with senior stakeholders
