The Role
As a Structural Detailer, youll transform engineering designs into clear, precise drawings for fabrication and construction. Youll work closely with engineers, project teams, and the workshop to ensure high-quality, buildable solutions for structures including platforms, gantries, stairs, and steel support systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Interpreting engineering and architectural drawings and specifications
Creating accurate 3D models and detailed drawings for manufacturing and site erection
Producing General Arrangement drawings for client approvals
Generating material and bolt lists to support estimating and procurement
Coordinating with multiple departments to deliver projects efficiently
Participating in site visits and surveys where required
Supporting continuous improvement within the detailing team
About You
Were keen to hear from candidates with:
Tekla Structures experience (highly desirable) OR strong proficiency in other 3D CAD or detailing software
Solid understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
Good communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders
A proactive, positive approach and ability to manage your own workload
