We're working with a leading housing association who are looking to appoint a Locality Officer to join their friendly and customer-focused team in Exeter, covering a "patch" based in Plymouth. In this role, you'll take ownership of your locality-working with customers, partners, and your team to build strong communities, manage tenancies, tackle neighbourhood issues, and support residents to thrive. What You'll Be Doing: Delivering high-quality, mixed-tenure housing services with a focus on tenancy, lease, and neighbourhood management Managing a varied caseload including ASB, tenancy breaches, safeguarding, and fraud Working with customers and communities to build pride in place and improve neighbourhoods Building relationships with local stakeholders, support agencies, and local authorities Conducting regular estate inspections and contributing to property and place improvements Ensuring compliance with housing regulations, policies, and safeguarding practices Using data to proactively manage cases and deliver targeted support Supporting the wider locality team to meet customer satisfaction and service delivery targets What We're Looking For: Previous experience in housing management, tenancy sustainment, ASB, or neighbourhood services Strong communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable working independently and across teams Able to manage a busy, varied caseload with competing priorities Knowledge of housing legislation and safeguarding best practices Confident using IT systems to manage data and maintain accurate records A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Plymouth and Exeter Why Join?
