Role Overview: We\'re currently looking for a Supply Chain Planner for the UK Logistics Centre site in Daventry. This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) and hybrid role (3 days per week onsite). Working hours: flexible office hours. The initial assignment duration is 12 months. It\'s possible this will get extended.
Responsibilities
* Support the Global Planning and Logistics function and the planning liaisons to ensure that key site level activities requiring cross-functional support are executed in line with Business Unit and regional expectations.
* Work heavily with different teams to drive execution for escalations within the region.
* Play a central role for various planning activities with dependencies on site teams.
* Manage material planning interface with the UK Logistics Centre Operations.
* Manage Material Planning related aftermarket Kitting / Production Scheduling processes.
* Coordinate Supplier Returns by working with Supply Chain Services and the site.
* Engage with customers/sales to manage Customer Returns within the EMEA region.
* Coordinate Advanced Shipping Notification creation/modification to ensure seamless receipt of product to the site.
* Coordinate with Inbound Operations to resolve errors and maintain a low cycle time in the closed-loop process.
* Provide Internal Escalation Support with Operational / Transportation Teams.
* Coordinate Site Operations (Hazmat, Receiving prioritization) to drive effective prioritization across key activities.
* Support inventory optimization activities across the site.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
B.S or B.A in applicable field, or equivalent through experience.
Experience
At least one internship or equivalent work experience in a supply chain role required.
