A business that has been formed to deliver critical projects to ensure smooth trade between the UK and EU post Brexit is looking for an Account Manager to join the team in Worksop, helping to build strong, long-lasting, profitable customer relationships.
In return, you will receive a starting salary of £26,500 pa along with a range of benefits including 29 days holiday (including bank holidays), pension scheme, free parking, and access to public transport links.
As Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Being the primary point of contact for all customer account management matters, overseeing and developing your accounts.
2. Collaborating with operations to ensure accurate and timely management of customs documents, delivering solutions aligned with customer needs and objectives.
3. Monitoring unusual customer activity, such as volume increases, missing work, or reductions, and proactively highlighting these issues.
4. Monitoring service level agreements in real-time to ensure compliance.
5. Acting as a mediator between clients and internal stakeholders to resolve complex customs or customer-related issues efficiently.
What we’re looking for in an Account Manager:
* A good understanding and knowledge of customs, gained through experience and/or qualification.
* Experience supporting clients in roles such as Customer Account Specialist, Customer Success Manager, or Client Relationship Manager.
* Working knowledge of CRM software such as HubSpot and Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent customer service skills.
You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills to connect effectively with external clients and internal stakeholders. Improving the overall customer experience is a key expectation.
