Buyer - Ballymoney
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Buyer to join a leading manufacturing company based in Ballymoney. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting production by managing purchasing processes, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials across the business. About this role:
1. £36,000 per annum
2. Monday to Thursday
3. Permanent role
What you’ll be doing in this role:
4. Manage purchasing administration including raising purchase orders and maintaining the Basware and MRP systems.
5. Oversee open order books and ensure all information is accurate and up to date.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
7. Monitor and update the site budget tracker.
8. Attend control room meetings and contribute to purchasing discussions.
9. Track and report on material shortages to support production needs.
10. Carry out any other reasonable duties as required.
What you'll need for this role:
11. Relevant experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
13. Qualification (or currently studying) in Business Studies or a related discipline.
14. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
15. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
16. Confident problem-solving abilities and sound judgement.
17. Comfortable working with numbers and financial information.
18. Ability to work independently and take initiative.
