Group Financial Controller - Belfast £65,000 - £70,000 | 1pm Finish Friday | Bonus Reed Finance is assisting in the appointment of a Group Financial Controller for a recognisable retail group in Belfast. Reporting to the Group Finance Director and managing a small team, we're seeking an ambitious individual with established leadership and technical skills to assume this key role. Key areas of responsibility include: Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability, humility, and growth. Deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting, including monthly management accounts, board analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations. Oversee and continuously improve internal controls, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. Drive budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting cycles with precision and clarity. Prepare annual audit packs and statutory accounts for external auditors. Lead monthly cash flow analysis and ensure effective liquidity management. Manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure strong financial governance across the group. Act as a strategic business partner to department heads, supporting decision-making and driving operational improvements. About you!
