Job Title: Occupational Hygiene Consultant
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary/Benefits: £28k - £40k + Training & Benefits
Our client is seeking an Occupational Hygiene Consultant in the Yorkshire area. The role is within a well-regarded Environmental Consultancy, who have a varied portfolio of clients and excellent reputation. It is essential that candidates have industry-relevant qualifications and can demonstrate an excellent level of technical knowledge. The company is a multi-disciplined outfit, who offer a wide range of consultancy services, so there are excellent opportunities for cross-training. Experience / Qualifications:
- Successful track record working as an Occupational Hygiene Consultant
- Must hold qualifications, such as: W503, 201, 502, 506 and / or 507
- Ideally, you will hold BOHS qualifications, such as: P600, P601 and / or P602
- Excellent technical knowledge
- Strong communication skills
- Good literacy and IT proficiency
- Professional manner
The Role:
- You will be attending client sites to complete inspections, testing, sampling and risk assessments, to assess: noise, dust, fume, vibration, air quality and LEV on client premises
- Conducting COSHH assessments
- Collecting samples and logging correctly
- Producing site-specific reports to advise on highlighted issues
- Meeting with clients to make recommendations and provide detailed technical advice
- Travelling to client sites
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients
- Adhering to set targets and deadlines
