Financial services – Hybrid (2 days in office)

An established financial services brand is looking for a results-oriented SEO Manager to join their high-performing marketing team. This is a great opportunity to take full ownership of SEO strategy in a hybrid environment where your work will directly impact traffic, rankings, and customer acquisition across loans and credit card products.
The role
Reporting into the Head of Marketing & Propositions, you’ll lead on developing and executing SEO strategies to drive organic visibility and traffic. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with design, product and tech, leveraging data and tools to optimise content, improve rankings, and grow domain authority. The team is focused on helping underserved customers build financial health – so there's a real sense of purpose behind the work.
Key responsibilities
* Own the SEO roadmap, from keyword research and technical optimisation to content strategy and performance tracking
* Focus on driving traffic and rankings for core financial products (loans and credit cards)
* Optimise site structure, landing pages, blog content and metadata for SEO best practice
* Develop backlink strategies to improve authority and trustworthiness
* Monitor and report on performance across organic and paid channels, using GA, GSC and SEM tools
* Stay on top of algorithm changes and evolving best practices to ensure compliance and relevance
About you
* Proven experience in a similar SEO role, ideally in financial services or another regulated space
* Solid Python skills and strong command of SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, Google Ads)
* Confident working across both technical and content-driven SEO
* Data-led mindset with experience reporting on traffic, CPA, conversions and rankings
* Great communicator who can work closely with marketing, design, and product teams
